Another shutout and we came through bracket play in first place, which means quarter-finals vs WA on Friday. WA is a very tough team and this will by far be our biggest test to date. Today's game took a bit of a toll as our keeper tweaked his hip/back (a recurring injury with him) and one of our strikers tweaked his back (another injury that has given him problems over the years). Unfortunately, Brian did not go in at all today since Gabe didn't like the way he was favoring his ankle during warm-ups, not being able to plant and cut comfortably. This is proving to be yet another frustrating Regional tournament as far as Brian's playing time is going. Hopefully with another day of rest and strengthening, he will come out strong on Friday. I hope. I guess there is always the vacation aspect of this trip to look forward to...so silver linings.
No adventures yet today, but we are going to break out of here soon and se what awaits us. Aloha for now! Scott
